Meetings with Danielle

Hey! Devon here...
Last week...
Last Tuesday Nat and I had a meeting with Danielle from Island Child to see what she felt about the possible name change. Although it was a good idea, due to many different things we decided that changing the name would be a great inconvenience for her, the charity and us. So were sticking with Island Child Charitable Trust but also discussed the idea of perhaps adding a byline to the name such as "nurturing the inner child" or something along those lines in order to help relate the name to the work she is currently doing. We also decided that we would be back in a week with some logo ideas to show her...

Yesterday...
So yesterday I went back to visit Danielle (unfortunately Nat could not come as she is away) and showed her some of the logo ideas that I had come up with during the week and we decided on the black and white one in the middle bacuase thats the one she really liked.

She suggested mixing the paua colours with the logo so we quickly tried it out as well as a few other typefaces and this is what we got

We decided we really liked the direction that this was heading in and that we will develop a little bit more.

We set up a Facebook group for the charity, invited a pile of people to join and I taught her how to use it and keep it updated.
Also Danielle and I rang the web host she had used a while ago and got the web address that she had been using re-registered and paid for so it can now be used!! www.islandchild.org.nz
Then we decided on a very rough layout for the website so that we can get started on it, and also on the stationery set.
So yeah..Yesterday turned out to be quite productive and we got quite a bit done... YAY!!
